Amayah Burgos

Amayah Burgos started climbing at 6 years old, and as a competitor for USA Climbing she loves music and the outdoors. She has purposed to use her voice to esteem young women of color, and to help them see themselves represented in sports. She uses her voice to raise issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion, while serving as a role model for the sport’s next generation.

Burgos empowers young girls to use their voice to manifest their dreams — bringing dreams to life to help propel change.

She competes with BFT Climbing Team within the USA Climbing circuit. She is working toward the USA Climbing National Team for Team USA, and can’t wait to represent her country on the big stage.
